Dubai

The Dancer

Dubai was rescued in November 2025, malnourished and frightened of almost everything. He’s in training, learning at his own pace that he’s safe.

Personality

Dubai came to Roots as a rescue and was frightened of almost everything, so we’ve never rushed him. He’s been allowed to take his time, learn that he’s safe and slowly start trusting people again. But Dubai has another side: he loves to dance. Walking in a straight line is, apparently, far less interesting. His journey at Roots is still happening, and that’s fine by us.

Trust takes as long as it takes.

Meet Dubai on the Beach Walk

Dubai is in training and isn’t ridden by guests yet. On the Beach Walk & Freedom you walk the herd to Cas en Bas beach, get to know each horse and watch them roll, splash and play. No riding needed.

Rates from US$50 per person

Every ride is private, with your own guide, photos and videos of your ride, and a horse ridden once a day at most.
