Personality

Wasine holds a very special place in our story: she was the first foal born at Roots. Her name means “Roots” in Creole, which made it the perfect name for the first baby born into our family. She’s Saffron’s daughter and even has a muzzle just like her mum’s. Having grown up with people around her, she’s curious and confident; if something’s happening, she wants to know about it. She’s become a bit of a social-media star along the way.

Confident, curious, sociable and always involved.

Family

Daughter of Saffron and Hercules.

Meet Wasine on the Beach Walk

Wasine is too young to be ridden. Young horses aren’t ridden until they’re ready. On the Beach Walk & Freedom you walk the herd to Cas en Bas beach, get to know each horse and watch them roll, splash and play. No riding needed.

Rates from US$50 per person

Every ride is private, with your own guide, photos and videos of your ride, and a horse ridden once a day at most.
